Booking an Appointment

All consultations are by appointment only. We offer 10-minute appointments to see a doctor. Telephone us on 01623 400100 or call in to make an appointment. We offer some pre-bookable appointments in the morning and afternoon, with the rest of the appointments that can be booked on the day. You may book your appointment up to four weeks in advance to see a doctor or nurse.

Our Nurse Practitioner is able to see and treat certain conditions as well as prescribe.  The doctors have asked reception staff to ascertain whether patients feel that they can be triaged of seen by the Nurse Practitioner, ensuring that patients are seen by the most appropriate healthcare professional.  We use a telephone triage system if you need advice over the telephone from our Nurse Practitioner. Please be prepared to give brief details of your call to the receptionist, who will ask for your telephone number and organise for our Nurse Practitioner  to telephone you back.

Please  let us know as soon as possible if you no longer require an appointment, please contact Reception to cancel it, so that we can offer it to another patient who may need seeing.

On your next visit to the Practice you will notice posters around the surgery showing the number of patients who fail to attend their appointment. We also have a policy for patients who fail to attend appointments, which includes the removal of patients from our Practice list who consider to waste appointments.
